WELCOME TO KAASTLE

Your instrument.
Your army.

  1. Choose guitar or bass. Guided practice starts with the landmarks: the open strings and the 5th and 7th frets. Each note remembers how well you know it, and the next zone of the fretboard opens once the last is known.
  2. Enable your microphone. Allow audio access, mute your strings for the room-noise check, then tune each open string within ±10 cents or choose Skip tuning. After the sound check, pluck one string at a time. A connected audio interface also works. Headphones prevent the reference note from feeding back.
  3. Find the displayed note. E2 means sounding E in octave 2. Hold it cleanly for 100 ms within ±40 cents of the target. Mute your strings before the next note.
  4. Defend the keep. Correct pitch → a soldier from your deck. A stable wrong note or timeout → an extra enemy. Survive the session to win.

You can use the on-screen fretboard without a microphone. “Show me a hint” reveals a correct position. Practice covers natural notes C, D, E, F, G, A, and B. Audio checks pitch; use the shown string. Visit My progress to see daily practice and each note’s mastery.

Audio is processed locally and never recorded. Match timers pause when you leave the tab. Space pauses/resumes; keys 1–4 answer theory prompts.
